Leaked Documents Allege iPhone 6s Will Get 12MP Camera, 4K Video Recording, 240fps Slow-Mo

Leaked documents reportedly posted by a Foxconn employee claim that the iPhone 6s will get a new 12 megapixel camera, 4K video recording, and 240fps slow-motion capabilities.

The original post has already been pulled but PhoneArena managed to retain a copy.

The documents mention internal model number N66 for the iPhone 6s and N71 for the iPhone 6s Plus, and states that both will pack the new 12-megapixel sensor. The two are also expected to finally get a long-due upgrade to 2GB of RAM. Interestingly, this rumor also lists a 5-megapixel front camera on both, and that would be quite the jump from the current 1.2-megapixel selfie shooter.

Previous predictions for the iPhone 6s include Force Touch, a faster LTE chip, a Rose Gold color option, 7000 series aluminum, and more.

Doesnt the iphone already record slomo at 240fps? I can select between 120 and 240 ftps on mine

Wow 12mp camera! Amazing! Oh wait, most phones already come with 16mp cameras.

Phones that have that many megapixels work as good as iPhone cameras have since the 5s. 12mp is used for iPhone with a great sensor to show how much clear it can get. Many did mention it's a huge jump to describe the biggest facelift, heck it doesn't even need such big bulky lens.

The 6 does 240fps at 720, so this is invalid really.

It was just my opinion the way we see video filing. I didn't say Apple doesn't need to upgrade anymore, it's how camera works and feels. Sometimes I feel that it's necessary. Don't hide the fact, stop excusing out excuses. iPhone is quality over quantity. I say quantity!!!

And the Galaxy S6s camera isn't? It's about 2 to 3 times the the thickness as the iPhone's. Your point is what?
