Apple Releases Beta of Safari 10 for OS X El Capitan and Yosemite

Apple has released a developer preview of Safari 10 for El Capitan and Yosemite. Safari 10 for OS X El Capitan is available for the latest OS X 10.11.6 beta. Safari 10 for OS X Yosemite is available for OS X 10.10.5.

Known Issues:
Certain Automator scripts will be incompatible after installing Safari 10. This will be fixed in a future release.

Focus Areas
Safari 10 brings new features to macOS Sierra, OS X El Capitan and Yosemite. Apple has asked developers to focus on the following areas in their testing.

• Apple Pay on the web
• Picture in Picture
• Multiple Safari Suggestion results. For example, type “Starbucks” and obtain all nearby locations, or type “Warriors” and obtain news results too.

• New Bookmarks sidebar, including double-click to focus in on a folder
• Redesigned Bookmarks and History views
• Site-specific zoom
• Improved AutoFill from your Contacts card
