Unfortunately, we are not shown the bottom of the device but it is widely rumored that Apple will be dropping the headphone jack and perhaps adding a second speaker for stereo audio.
You can checkout some renders that show what we expect the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus to look like here.

I am buying it only for underwater and drop testing. Cheap to buy anyways and disposable.

Maybe instead of 6ss they can call it a minor update. Steve Jobs wouldn't care about the current 'yearly upgrades'..... He would just wait until something revolutionary to launch.

You do realize s versions are to only fix the problems with a whole new iPhone released before it meaning no big change and sometimes introduce a minor change so either way you look at it from the work Jobs or Cook have don't, it's makes sense so it can make up before changing the phone entirely because let's be honest, who would want a phone that will only keep the design for one model and not make a second version out of it? In the case of the 6s, it makes sense even if upgrades aren't huge, but 6ass? Yeah like Jobs would approve that in his right mind especially when Apple is still doing well just as always even if most of their work nowadays can't be perfect sometimes, but I'll say that every whole new iPhone up to this point so far always introduces new features and never disappoints. Big changes or not with physical body shell means nothing compared to features since I would slap a case onto it anyway.

Its a redesigned 6S, Lets call it 6SS. Apple will overhaul iphone next year for 10th anniversary. They clearly did not want to spend alot of money on R&D. I will stick to my 6 untill they really change the unibody.

That's actually why it's being held off until next year for a major redesign, but if something is going to be a 6ss, that would question the pattern the iPhone's names in the way it's changed, but what would SS mean? There is always something that stands for s, but SS? It just doesn't work.

Why is the apple transparent? Will they have it light up? Or has it always been transparent?

The current iPhone's shell is separable from the Apple logo so it doesn't have to light up. It can still be just the way it is in 6/6S

It's not transparent, it's a hole. Same as current models.

It is what it is Apple. Perfect, I don't want any extra gimmicky bits. You know what you get, quality

So apparently, the way it looks now is okay yet people will not be able to tell what storage option they have or if anything else will be added as a feature to the shell, I wouldn't say the stuff is gimmicky yet because we don't know if this is the final look or if extra stuff is really going to be added.

Yet we only get a glimpse of the backside and not other sides. Nothing more to say indeed.
