WARNING: Apple Killed Pangu Jailbreak With Release of iOS 9.3.4

Posted August 4, 2016 at 6:35pm by iClarified
Apple has just released iOS 9.3.4 which kills the Pangu jailbreak used by many to jailbreak iOS 9.2 - iOS 9.3.3.

The security document for iOS 9.3.4 lists just one security issue resolved: an IOMobileFrameBuffer memory corruption issue used by Pangu Team to facilitate their jailbreak.

---
● IOMobileFrameBuffer
Available for: iPhone 4s and later, iPad 2 and later, iPod touch (5th generation) and later
Impact: An application may be able to execute arbitrary code with kernel privileges
Description: A memory corruption issue was addressed through improved memory handling.
CVE-2016-4654: Team Pangu
---

If you are jailbroken or looking to jailbreak make sure you do not accidentally update to iOS 9.3.4 or you will lose the ability to jailbreak your device.

You can find instructions on how to jailbreak here.

Update to 9.3.3
Update to 9.3.3 - August 6, 2016 at 1:24pm
If you are on iOS 9 but haven't updated to 9.3.3, I would highly suggest you do for the sole reasons of the vulnerabilities listed on the Apple website. Especially if you carry sensitive information on your idevice. Don't take my word for it, Read it on Forbes: www.forbes.com/sites/thomasbrewster/2016/07/19/apple-iphone-ios-9-vulnerabilities-like-stagefright/#60f197343947

I will stay on good 8.4 until my iPhone 6 is alive! After that, probably look for a phone, that let me do, what I want! (Hello, Edge!) Sorry Apple, but I don't want to be forced to get my Phone slower, and full of stuff, I don't need!

The easiest way you can avoid any future updates is make the storage full enough or keep the battery low. Plus you can do what you want with jailbreak.

The Window is still open for iOS 9.3.3 as of 4AM (Pacific Time -US)...got the firmware here (iClarified - ipsw 5S) > win7 pro platform > MS essential (anti-virus OFF) > iTunes 12.4.2.4 (ignore iTunes update) >>>device was 8.4..had to DFU , shift restore & navigate 2 the correct ipsw.. SMOOTH, no errors! ...though 'would wait for all patches b4 I jump in... rectified pangu (tnx) JB.. who knows? "all the best!" ...

Of course they do. It is my device and i can do what ever i want to it . Just like a car. They wonder why their stock and sale of phone are low. Yet they continue to steal ideas from the JB community development and developers . And claim them has their newest ideas . A majority of people know this as TRUE STATEMENT, continue to use patents of others in there products because they make billions of those patents and ideas. It is far cheaper to pay the phones then not build the phone. GREED and egos

Use "http :// api . ineal . me / tss / status" to check that stuff. It's crazy that they're still signing 9.3.2 and 9.3.3(not as surprising.) (combine everything in the "" obviously.)
