3 feet is improvement however when they start creating wireless charging over several metres that will be quite cool

Now that's what I call wireless charging compared to how it currently is. To me it's just a relocated wire, but soon actual wireless charging can allow us to use the phones withou some bulky Qi pad being in the way.
