Netflix has confirmed that it won't be part of Apple's upcoming video service, reports Recode.
Apple is widely expected to unveil a video service next week that will work similar to Amazon Prime with original content and the ability to subscribe to third party services.
“Apple’s a great company. We want to have people watch our shows on our services,” Hastings said at a press event Monday in Los Angeles.
It's not surprising that Netflix doesn't want to work with Apple. It hasn't signed on to the company's TV app and recently stopped selling subscriptions via the App Store. Asked about that move, Netflix content head Ted Sarandos said Apple hadn't been an important revenue source.

Excellent, as much as I love my All my Apple devices, I want competition, something that Apple is trying to take control of with music, books, movies and TV shows. If Apple succeeds prices will rise which is good for Apple but horrible for us!

Already Apple have raised the prices of Netflix taking a third for themselves which was unacceptable by Netflix which is better for us paying less directly to Netflix.
