How to Reveal Your Saved Web Passwords in macOS Safari

These are instructions on how to reveal your saved web usernames and passwords in macOS Safari. You may want to do this if you have forgotten your login information for a particular website.

Step One
Launch Safari from your Dock.


Step Two
Click Preferences from the Safari menu at the top left of your screen.


Step Three
Select the Passwords tab from the Preferences window.


Step Four
Enter your Mac user account password.


Step Five
You'll be presented with a list of domains for which Safari has saved passwords.


Select the website and username to reveal your saved password.
