Samsung has unveiled its upcoming Galaxy Z Fold2 smartphone featuring bigger screens on both the inside and outside of the device.
Samsung continues to pioneer an entirely new category of mobile devices by introducing the next generation of foldables— Galaxy Z Fold2. After releasing two foldable devices and listening to user feedback on the most requested upgrades and new features, Samsung unveils the Galaxy Z Fold2 with meaningful innovations that offer users enhanced refinements and unique foldable user experiences. Galaxy Z Fold2 combines the portability and flexibility of a smartphone with the power and screen size of a tablet for ultimate productivity. Whether folded or unfolded, you can enjoy a luxury mobile experience with Galaxy Z Fold2’s premium design.
The Galaxy Z Fold2 features two edge-to-edge, nearly bezel-less Infinity-O Displays. The cover screen is 6.2-inches and the main screen is 7.6-inches, making them both larger than the Galaxy Fold.
The smartphone will come in Mystic Black and Mystic Bronze colors. Samsung is also partnering with New York fashion house Thom Browne to deliver a limited Galaxy Z Fold2 Thom Browne Edition.

I must admit, though I’m official married to the Apple environment, this looks nice. It appears to have none of the obvious points of failure in the fold mechanism. Though how stable the design is, in the long run, is anyone’s guess.

I haven't seen the Fold in reality, perhaps because of low sales? Also, where is the Smart Speaker announced two years ago? The EKG is similar to the Apple Watch, the Galaxy Tab Pen placement is an awkward idea, and the Ear Buds are not appealing.

Just another gimmick. They build what consumers think is cool not what consumers need. A folding phone like this will only run I to issues moving forward. I don’t see it being a big seller either.
