Ambrosia Software has announced its Aki Mahjong, Mondo Solitaire, Mondo Top 5 Solitaire, and Mr. Sudoku Apps for iPad are now available on the App Store. All these apps have been redesigned specifically for iPad.
"We're excited to have four great apps available for the iPad at launch," said Andrew Welch, Ambrosia's president. "The titles we've digitally remastered for iPad look absolutely incredible on the large iPad screen. We redid every stitch of artwork, and redesigned the games specially with iPad in mind."
Aki Mahjong combines the ancient Chinese game of Mahjong with an enchanting journey across Japan. The principle is simple: a number of ivory tiles are arranged on a beautiful Japanese backdrop. The goal is to make all of the tiles disappear by matching them to similar tiles. Players can easily browse Aki's levels by simply flicking a finger, thanks to the Multi-Touch user interface. Tap the level to select and the game is ready to play.
Mondo Solitaire's beautiful, crisp graphics enables players to easily identify cards and assess their current move. With more than 100 included games, players are sure to find all their favorites and discover new games to enjoy. Using a familiar library search interface, games can be sorted and selected by name, style, favorites, and even popularity. The categorized interface makes it really easy to find the exact game to play.
Mondo Top 5 Solitaire uses a fantastic solitaire gaming engine to bring users FreeCell, Golf, Klondike, Pyramid, and Spider. For solitaire lovers who want just the most popular games, but done in a professional, easy to use, and fun interface, this is the solitaire game for them.
Mr. Sudoku's unique and innovative interface allows players to use a familiar input device to select digits - their own personal digits. Simply use a finger to draw the appropriate number and it is instantly converted into the actual number. Ensuring the strategy and brain-flexing doesn't stop, there are four difficulty levels with thousands of different Sudoku puzzles to choose from.
Ambrosia's mobile games are designed to be true casual games and played whenever and wherever, yet dismissed quickly to surf the web or send messages. When finished, players simply tap the game's icon to get right back into the action.
