Garmin has responded to Apple's launch of a new 'Apple Watch Ultra' smartwatch targeted at outdoor enthusiasts, extreme athletes, and adventurers.

In a tweet promoting its new Enduro 2 smartwatch, the company mocks the battery life of the new Apple Watch Ultra.

"We measure battery life in months. Not hours. #Enduro2"

The Apple Watch Ultra features a significant improvement in battery life going from 18 hours to 36 hours of battery. Low Power will take this even further to 60 hours.

According to the specs for the Enduro 2, it offers up to 34 days of battery life and up to 46 days using a solar charging feature. In Battery Saver Watch Mode, its battery life is said to last up to 111 days or 550 days with solar. However, in GPS Mode, battery life drops to 110 hours or 150 hours with solar.

While the Garmin device does offer some unique features for its users, the Apple Watch Ultra is certainly encroaching on its market segment. Should Garmin be worried? Let us know what you think in the comments!
