Apple has officially launched Apple Music Connect, a new portal described as the home for direct music delivery partners. The platform launches first with a suite of marketing tools that let labels and distributors pitch upcoming releases to Apple's global editorial team, create social assets, and fulfill media requests from a single dashboard.
After logging in, users see a list of their artists and content releasing that week, along with access to each artist's full catalog. From there, teams can choose between Promote and Pitch. Promote generates customizable social media cards for an artist page, song, album, or playlist feature. Assets can be resized and adjusted by color before export.
Pitch is designed for priority releases that partners want to put in front of Apple's global editorial team. Submissions include key release details such as pre-orders or pre-adds, focus tracks, genres, and moods. Additional tools under the Marketing section include media requests and quick links to Console and the Marketing Toolbox. If editors are considering featuring an artist, partners can upload publicity images directly through media requests for review.
Apple Music Connect also includes account controls. Anyone with admin access to an iTunes Connect Music account automatically has admin privileges in Apple Music Connect. Admins can assign Marketing Manager roles to team members, granting access to the account's full catalog, including upcoming releases.
Apple Music Connect consolidates pitching, promotion, and media coordination into a single destination for labels and distributors working directly with Apple Music.
