Take a Peek Behind the Horizon with Your iPhone

Mobwe has announced the release and immediate availability of World Ahead 1.0, a new application for iPhone 3GS/4. This newly available application allows iPhone 3GS/4 owners to take a "peek" behind the horizon. By simply moving a compass equipped device, one can see the countries, oceans and seas located in the pointed direction.

Reverse usage is also possible. Just switch to exploration mode, pick an area of interest and the app will show you in what direction is the area located. The application makes a great pocket companion with several benefits, such as:

* Learn world geography interactively and engagingly
* Know what and where are your homeland's neighbouring countries
* Always know in what direction is any country (or ocean, largest seas) in the world located
* Get overall more knowledgeable about the world


Google Maps and direct access to Wikipedia are included for enhanced learning experience. Currently supported are all world countries, oceans and largest seas but the list of areas is not constrained as everyone is welcome to make suggestions on what to include in the future updates of the application.
