Hog Bay Releases WriteRoom.iPhone 2.1

Hog Bay Software has released WriteRoom.iPhone 2.1. For people who want to write and take notes on their iPhone. WriteRoom is a distraction free writing environment. Unlike Notes, WriteRoom provides a clean interface and tether free syncing. Version 2.1 adds:

* TextExpander support
* Optional startup password
* Settings are now accessed within app
* New option to lock screen orientation
* Sync service is out of beta and is open sourced

WriteRoom.iPhone's sync service has been taken out of beta and open sourced. The sync website url changed from www.writeroom.ws to www.simpletext.ws. The www.writeroom.ws site will remain active so that you can retrieve your old synced documents. The open source server code is suitable for self hosting, you can download the latest code from github.
