Apple has officially released visionOS 27 for Apple Vision Pro, adding Siri AI, Visual Intelligence, spatial scenes for panoramic photos, a new Environment, and connectivity improvements.
Panoramic photos can now be transformed into spatial scenes with added depth and used as a personal Environment. visionOS 27 also introduces a Thórsmörk Environment featuring a dynamic Icelandic aurora.
Siri AI brings personal context, onscreen awareness, broader world knowledge, and more app actions to Apple Vision Pro. Visual Intelligence extends those capabilities to the user's surroundings, allowing them to search, ask questions, and take action by looking at content in app windows or physical objects and asking Siri.
Connectivity changes allow Apple Vision Pro to start and connect to Wi-Fi up to three times faster, according to Apple.

Apple Intelligence is available on Apple Vision Pro. Siri AI is rolling out as a beta in English, with French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish coming in October. Vision Pro users in the European Union can access Siri AI when the device is set to a supported language, while Siri AI and the other new Apple Intelligence features are unavailable in China. Some server-based Apple Intelligence features are subject to daily usage limits.
To install the update, open Settings on Apple Vision Pro, select General, and choose Software Update.
