I can't ebelive you just called this low cost. I don't think anyone would use their iPhone to permanently replace their universal remote, maybe to show off to your friends fora minutes but not for prolonged usage. you need tactile feedback when using a remote, you should be able to operate a remote blindfolded. and what would you do if your battery is dying or you need to make a phone call? I could go on withreasons why this is unuseful. this is the most impractical thing I've ever seen for the iPhone and big waste of money. if you want a good universal remote that won't cost more than an iPhone itself get a logitech harmony.
