Mikey: I appreciate your candor and totally agree with all what you wrote. Well we do take our kids to experience nature at its best but how do you convince 5-year twins that this gadget can't beat the real thing. Having said that, we continue exposing them as much as we can to appreciate the beauty of all things natural less gadgetry. Cheers :)
this is not Amed towards last comment or anyone in particular but it's becoming very sad that any kids have not or do not or cannot experience these sounds first hand the way we used to (Im showing my age) and I ofcourse understand that we all live in different parts of this great world that make some of these expriences totally out of reach but it seems like the future is becoming exactly like the sci fi films we watched as kids where children would look at a picture of a bird and ask ""what's that?" I guess all I'm really saying is take them wherever and whenever you can because experience is the greatest teacher.
Follow-up! I let my kids view & listen to this app. Big mistake! Now they want me to take them someplace to experience the real thing. Consider yourselves warned - LOL
I actually went ahead and got this one even though it's a 100+ MB file. Tell you the truth, it's indeed relaxing, it sort of takes you on to a higher platform - can't exactly find the right word for that - so I'll just settle for serene.
