Great concept, but alas does not allow me to connect regardless of whether I use @mac.com or not

oooh, I spent many hours on this. Damn.
But finaly. you probably had the same problem as me.
do not type member@me.com
just member name and password, do not use "@me.com"

Can't connect; can't verify account. Why Apple allows this things to go on line knowing they don't work? Beats me!!!

it won't even let me connect to my mobileme account. it says 'could not verify account'. Anyone have the same problem?
