you need to put your phone into DFU mode. Hold sleep and home button until phone powers off. Keep holding home for around 10 seconds then release. You should see apple itunes logo.. Then connect to itunes and hit restore.

It isn't a bug. it has been removed. I see no reason in having an unlock sound. I know i'm unlocking the device since I am looking at it. It makes sense to hear a lock sound only since you aren't usually looking at the device when looking.

Just got to know the iTunes 11.1 beta 2 currently only have Mac version available. For those who require iTunes 11.1 beta 2 on Windows; would recommend not to update to GM for now until the official version of iTunes 11.1 is available.

You know what I think? I believe apple is not doing ota, so, like someone had said before me "they can thin out the herd". Therefore many more will be anticipating anxiously for the official one to come out. Meaning there will be a huge number of those who upgrade on that day. Which will result in a big number, that apple can use on their next keynote to brag about the many ios device users who upgraded on that one day. :)

if you restore the gm to your phone, it wont mess it up or ruin it in any way, it just might now activate through apple, in that case, just restore whatever version of ios you had before

Apparently, Keychain access has been removed from the GM.

Ya theres no OTA this time. Apples Attempting to "Thin out the herd" of non-dev ios beta users. Only way to get it this time around is dev center or if someone shares it somewhere

Did you try to install it manually on a non-registerd phone? Mine is not showing as an OTA either, however I am DL'ing the file from the dev center.

I have a UDID registered iPhone 5. Yet i am not getting anything through iTunes when i click check for update?

It won't work that way. You need to sign in the dev account and download it from there.

u have to download the file from the dev site.
It won't be on itunes until next week.

I have the file for the CDMA iPhone 5, do you think it is safe to apply without a registered UDID? (I hate to be first and screw up my phone)
I have not seen any feedback yet as to where anyone has tried it on a non-registered phone.

Just make sure you backup your phone. If it bricks, do you know the steps to re-install to a prior ios7 beta or ios6?
