Saurik has announced the release of Cydia Substrate 0.9.5000 bringing compatibility with iOS 7 and the ARM64 CPU used in the iPhone 5s, iPad Air, and iPad mini 2.
"Substrate 0.9.5000 has been released, with support for iOS 7 and ARM64. (For extensions to work on ARM64, they must be recompiled to ARM64.)"
The update means most tweaks can now work properly on all devices! You can get Substrate 0.9.5000 from the Changes tab in Cydia. It make take some time for developers to recompile their extensions for the 64-bit processor so keep checking back or follow us with the links below.
Cydia Substrate supports frameworks used by iPhone projects such as WinterBoard, Activator, and Five Icon Dock. The general idea is that there are a number of reasons one might want to hook functionality into an existing application. In order to do this there are a few dangerous or complex steps. By cnetralizing the code for these we can hope to get them right. As an example, MobileSubstrate provides a simple platform (one integrated with Cydia) for deploying code that gets inserted into graphical applications. When things fail, it as able to provide error handling and fallback support (think of a "Safe Mode").
If you haven't already jailbroken you can use the iClarified Jailbreak Wizard to find the appropriate instructions for your device.

The coolest JB tweak would be an editor for Cydia, so we could block all the out-dated "tweaks" for OS's that nobody even uses anymore. Finding simple ios7 or iPhone 5s-capable tweaks is a nightmare. What a mess

A filtered browse or search would be nice

I still can't change theme with winterboard on my 5S, any help?

~flipper - January 3, 2014 at 6:35pm
WinterBoard is still in the process of being updated for iOS7. So it, and any tweak that uses it as a dependency, doesn't work yet.

A very annoying thing is when you slide the bar down for search trying t type ,the phone crashes
I've should've stayed with IOS 6.1.2
Everything was working
Only Reason I want to Jailbreak is
for the Barrel, downloader and 5 docks
If I want to buy an App I don't mind paying for it.
No big deal.
My favorite Jailbreak is the AppleTV2 thats the shit

I'm jailbroken on iPhone5S 7.0.4 and I do not have that problem. Everything is working flawlessly. Just waiting on BiteSMS to be updated for ARM7 now.

After installing Cydia substrate appeared on the lockscreen message, Confidential & Proprietary, If found please contact +1 877-595-1, is a fix that would be removed?

TO fix this issue related to the confidential and proprietary you will need to go into the system files either with ifile or a remote file viewer on your windows or mac computer. Go to: var -> System -> library -> CoreServices -> Springboard.app ->
Once at that location, scroll to the folder of your selective language for your device. If english, you will find 3 folders, I advise updating the file in each folder for english (en-gb, en-au, en)
Open the file: Springboard-internal.strings
You will be presented with the coding, of which makes up this text, you CAN delete it all at your own risk, personally, I have customised the message to my liking. Once done, select save. Reboot your device to see your changes.

ha ha ha, first what everyone with Android will do is to go to xda-developers, root its device, and then work, so you are telling us, that you don't have root of your S4? :-) Go away and read your articles on XDA-DEV, which should rename to ANROID-DEV soon, it was quite good forum with lot of good people oriented to multiple platforms, now it is just about android. And no you do not do these changes even on your S4 without ROOT Privileges !
