TaiG 1.1 Jailbreak Utility Released, TaiG iOS 8.0-8.1.1 Untether Released in Cydia

TaiG has released an updated version of its jailbreak utility in Chinese and English, as well as an untether package in Cydia.

Version 1.1 of the jailbreak is said to "Avoid sandbox generate redundant info". The new jailbreak utility can be downloaded from here.

Users who've already jailbroken with TaiG can install their untether package in Cydia to update to the latest version of the jailbreak.

Officially built TaiG source(apt.taig.com), users who Jailbroke with TaiG before V1.1.0, can fix this problem by install TaiG 8.0-8.1.1 Untether.

If you haven't jailbroken your device already, you can find instructions on how to jailbreak using the iClarified Jailbreak Wizard.

Hi can someone help me please after i jailbreaked my IPAD2 it works very well however there are some applications that cannot be downloaded and i receive error: OXE8000006

Can someone explain the "Untether"? I don't think the original Taig JB was a thethered JB was is? I'm a little nervous about rebooting my phone now....

Don't worry, you have an untethered jailbreak. There is just an update to the untether to do some bug fixes. If you're not noticing any issues then I wouldn't even bother.

you have to add apt.taig.com as a source in cydia to get the update to the untether
