Xiaomi has just unveiled the Mi Mix smartphone, an impressive new device that sounds a lot like Apple's rumored 2017 iPhone.

We've been sharing tantalizing information over the past few months about what the 10th anniversary iPhone will look like. Reports have suggested that Apple plans to go with an all-glass enclosure, embedding things like the earpiece, sensors, and Touch ID right into the display. Additionally, there have been reports that Apple is investigating ceramic for the body of the phone and that it could have a strip along the bottom that houses core components.

Today, Xiaomi announced the Mi Mix. It features a 6.4-inch display, an edgeless design, and a 91.3% percent screen-to-body ratio. Ultrasonic replaces the infrared proximity sensor. Ceramic is used for the device's back, frame, and buttons. Mi Mix also boasts a ceramic acoustics system.

The smartphone uses a 2.45GHz Snapdragon 821 processor and has up to 6GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The phone's battery is 4400mAh in size and supports Quick Charge 3.0.

The rear camera is 16MP with phase detect autofocus. The phone has a 192Hz / 24-bit DAC chip for high quality audio and it appears to support dual SIMs.

Pricing and Availability:
The Mi Mix is set for release next month with a starting price of a $516 for 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The higher end model costs $590 and has 6GB of RAM, 256GB of storage and 18k gold accents.
