A placeholder entry for a new Apple 'Files' app was spotted on the App Store this morning by developer Steven Troughton-Smith ahead of the WWDC 2017 keynote.
It appears as though Apple is finally planning to introduce a Finder type app for iOS 11, something that users have long wished for. Presumably, the app would allow users to manage files on their devices and hopefully provide folder level access to third party apps. The placeholder has been pulled from the App Store already but it will likely be back soon.

I wouldn't need iFile or Filza anymore!!! Jailbreak tools now a rarity in their frequency, these are terrific news. Gladly gonna pay for this app T_T

This will be good since the jailbreak community has struggled. I hope soon we will not need JB anymore with just a few addons and tweaks by Apple. Yes, no more free apps but at least give me file access, so idevices can be somewhat useful.
