Face ID Supports 'Alternate Appearance' in iOS 12

Posted June 5, 2018 at 1:38am by iClarified
Apple has introduced the ability to add an 'Alternate Appearance' to Face ID in iOS 12.

In addition to continuously learning how you look, Face ID can recognize an alternate appearance.

Although, it's likely this feature is intended for use by a single user. It can be used to have Face ID recognize a second person.

Unfortunately, you can't just reset one of the saved faces. If you want to remove one, you'll need to reset both.

Please follow iClarified on Twitter, Facebook, or RSS for updates on what's new in iOS 12.

Pretty cool. I’d probably do one with my glasses on and dressed down no hair style. And then one with my hair styled and and glasses off. Just to make things smoother.
