Don't Worry About the iPad's Micro-SIM, Just Trim Yours Down

It seems all the worry about carriers not supporting the iPad's Micro-SIM card format may be unnecessary.

The European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI), which sets the standards for SIM cards, tells Crave that except for the size of the plastic around the chip, micro SIM cards are identical to the SIM cards we normally find in phones.

This means that you should be able to simply trim down your standard SIM card and insert it into the iPad. Of course, this hasn't been tested as yet; however, it definitely sounds hopeful.

YEs it is possible, because I;ve done this before with one of those dual sim chip adapters, you just have to cut outsome of the sim plastic (and believe me you can cut a lot, the chip is very small) :D so I knew since the moment they said it's a small sim that standard ones can add will be adapted.
