New Breakout Cable Enables Jailbreak of Apple TV 4K

A new breakout cable being sold by Gizmite Design enables jailbreaking of the Apple TV 4K. Unfortunately, you'll need some soldering skills to install the cable.

The standard breakout cable package is everything you need for easy access to the Apple TV 4K’s internal USB port and a button to enter DFU.



Package Includes:
● 1 x 10 pin internal breakout
● 1 x 71mm Flat Flex Cable
● 1 x DFU/USB board.


A tutorial on how to solder the breakout cable can be found here. This will definitely void your warranty and if done wrong could damage your device. You'll need a temperature adjustable soldering iron, lead free solder, a torx T7 screwdriver, and 30AWG Keynar wire.

Once the breakout is installed you can jailbreak using checkra1n version 0.9.7 or later.
