Apple's widely anticipated MacBook Pro update could bring much improved mini-LED displays with support for a 120Hz refresh rate, according to display analyst Ross Young.

A special 'Unleashed' event was just announced by Apple at which the company is expected to unveil its new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro.

On Twitter, Young said he expects these notebooks to feature a "Scaled up 12.9" iPad Pro display".

Yes, new 14" and 16" MacBook Pro's will have miniLEDs and we believe they will also be 120Hz refresh.

Apple's special event will take place on October 18th at 10am PDT. Please download the iClarified app or follow iClarified on Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and RSS for updates.
