Apple's next generation AirPods Pro will allegedly be upgraded with an H1 chip, heart rate detection, USB-C, hearing aid functionality, and more, according to a new report from 52audio.
Recently, 52audio got more information on the new Apple AirPods Pro 2. It brings many upgrades, including the upgraded SiP packaging system, the H1 chip, which supports self-adaptive active noise cancellation, and an improved "Find My" function. It also has new functions, like heart rate detection, hearing aid, USB-C port for better compatibility, and optimized fast charging.
The site says AirPods Pro 2 will look similar to AirPods 3 but have ear tips for active noise cancellation. They will also have the pressure-sensitive buttons of the previous model.
The H1 chip is said to bring better performance and improved power consumption with support for 'self-adaptive' noise cancellation.
A heart rate detection sensor will purportedly use the wearer's inner ear data to monitor their heart rate. The sensor may also support temperature detection; however, that is not confirmed.
The Mag Safe charging case is said to get a significant upgrade with a USB-C port, a bottom speaker, and a built-in microphone that will allow the case to transmit audio to the earphones, helping those with hearing difficulties.
Apple is expected to unveil the next generation AirPods Pro 2 later this year. Check out the renders below and hit the link for more details...
