Apple Maps Adds SpotHero for Parking Information

Apple Maps has added the ability to quickly check for parking information via SpotHero.

The SpotHero service lets users find and compare prices on hourly, monthly, airport and event parking at thousand of lots and garages across North America.

To use SpotHero, search for parking on our app or website before you arrive, choose the space that works the best for you, and book the space. You'll know that there's a space in the garage waiting for you, taking the stress out of parking so you can concentrate on the things that matter most.


Apple Maps users can now quickly check for SpotHero parking information at a location by tapping the More ellipsis button. If SpotHero is available for that location, you'll see a Parking button at the top of the menu. Tapping the parking button will open the SpotHero website within Apple Maps for quick bookings.

SpotHero is also available as a standalone app from the App Store.
