AT&T Unveils Insanely Expensive International iPad Data Plans

at&t has gone crazy....

Funny, i'm paying € 0,36 / MB on roaming in europe = € 36 / GB. In austria you get 1000 min for calls for € 8.80 = 0.88 cents / min. 1GB dataplan costs € 4

0,36€ / MB equals 360€ / GB eqals 473 USD

Oh sorry my mistake ;) its still much cheaper if you compare €36 / 100MB to AT&Ts plan for 120 USD

Fuck AT&T with their insane plans. If you go overseas, just get a sim card from the local operator(s). Simple as that. Mirco-Sims will be becoming standard in around 2 to 3 months anyhow, once iPad international is released as well as iPhone 4G.

HAHA...OH wow. and people will excuse this and still buy it b/c they think this is cool.

They rent SIMs with unlimited data plans, and it was totally worth it. As far as AT&T's international rates? Are they friggin' insane? Who would pay that?

That has to be a error. That is horrible.

No mistake about it. That's what they charge for all international data plans if you pay for it in advance. It's worse if you don't....$19.97/Mb - yes per megabyte.

this is usual, another operator all over the world have nearly same price with international data.
