Apple has seeded the second betas of iOS 26.3 and iPadOS 26.3 to developers for testing. The build number for this update is 23D5103d.
This release follows the first beta seeded in mid-December, which introduced a new native 'Transfer to Android' option in Settings to simplify switching devices. That build also included Notification Forwarding support for wearables in the European Union.
The beta cycle arrives on the heels of iOS 26.2, which was released to the public last month. That update brought several functional refinements to the operating system, including a new opacity slider for the Lock Screen clock, verification codes for AirDrop transfers with non-contacts, and AI-generated chapters in Apple Podcasts.
It is not yet clear what specific changes are included in this second beta, but it likely focuses on bug fixes and stability improvements following the holiday break. We are installing the update now and will highlight any significant new features if they are discovered.
Developers can download the new build from the Apple Developer Center. It is also available over-the-air via Settings > General > Software Update by selecting the iOS 26 Developer Beta option.
