If you jailbroke using RedSn0w just run this new version 0.9.5b5-4 and deselect Cydia (you don’t want to reinstall Cydia over itself).

o Update Baseband or not
I have 3GS in 3.12 jb with pwnage prev version', old bootrom with ssh submited to Saurik, unlocked with prev version of ultrasn0w
I have 042608 baseband
Previously did not upgrade baseband because other basebands could not be unlocked
Now can all be unlocked
What baseband best fits IOS4
What if I ever need to downgrade back to 3.12
What are pros and cons of checking off update baseband in pwnage tool 4.01

Dear all, my friend's 3G were stuck in 3.1.3 before the redsn0w and unlock tools were released, thanks to dev-team, I managed to unlock for him with ios4. But that only last less that a day, his iphone could not get signals from Maxis, Celkom and even DIGI. I've tried to insert SIM cards from most carriers, sometimes it works but most of the time it fails to detect any signals. Can anyone help? Btw, I'm in Malaysia, the iPhone was bought in Australia.

Worked for me this update was locked out my 3gs since november tried spirt on it before and last night before update i couldnt get it off asking for sim.
Little messing around today i got it to work ive now got all my toys on my iphone 3gs again.

What was the problem with ibooks? I take it when I install I just run redsnow and point to new file. Thanks. PS. Used JB and Unlock on 3g to IOS4...I had locked it previous with upgrade to 313...everything works greath. Thanks very much.
