iMovie Runs on the iPhone 3GS Just Fine [Video]

David Romhan Torres has succeeded in getting iMovie to run on his iPhone 3GS with little difficulties.

I just make iMovie for iphone 4 run on an iphone 3GS, it's very simple just download the file, modify info.plist file and change the Minimum system version to 3.0.0 and UIRequiredDeviceCapabilities/front-facing-camera to false

Take a look at the video below posted by RedmondPie. They've posted some instructions as well; however, the installation of the modified ipa requires circumventing Apple's DRM so we can't post a full tutorial.

How to jailbreak and unlock iphone 3gs on 4.0. I have installed 4.0 on iphone 3gs. I have tried pwnage didn't work any idea guys.. any help is greatly appreciated

Got an easier way!! Just download it via installous and it works make sure u have ios 4.. :)

pretty easy, already did it on mine, just do what he said about changing in the info.plist file. might make a how to video of it myself edited on my 3GS :)

how to do: 1. Install "cydia hackulo us" repo 2. Install "Installous, Source GUI, AppSync for OS 4.0" 3. Go to home screen and tap "Installous", "Search", iMovie, Click "download", install and that is it ;) You have now iMovie on your iPhone 3GS !
