The Canadian iPhone is to be launched in June and may have the least expensive data plan of any carrier so far, according to an Electronista report.
It is likely that the Canadian iPhone will be distributed next month at the same time as the 3G iPhone is launched internationally.
"The sources claim that the iPhone will qualify for Rogers' $7 on-device browsing plan, which currently allows all phones offered by Rogers (excepting BlackBerry and Windows Mobile devices) to access the web as much as they like through the carrier's officially-sanctioned browser," Electronista reports.
It is unknown whether Rogers will attempt to control the type of traffic that is included in this plan.

Rogers recently made changes to their Unlimited Mobile Browsing plan. It is a tiered package now with stipulations for use under tethering, downloaded apps, internet browsers vs. wap browsers. Basically, it's $7 for minimal usage under defined conditions, then bumps you up to the next price..$15 for X MB, then $30 for the next...etc etc.

Rogers is known for fine print boning of customers, this rumour is bs. No way all usage will be covered by Rogers for seven bucks. Just not going to happen.
Chalk this one up to link bait folks
