Back in December, Google introduced Google Goggles on Android to let you search by taking pictures. Today they've announced that Goggles is now a feature of Google Mobile App for iPhone.
In the new version of Google Mobile App just tap on the camera button to search using Goggles. Goggles will analyze the image and highlight the objects it recognizes -- just click on them to find out more. Y

The reason why it's only available for 3GS and 4 is probably because it needs the compass. I don't think the program is as intelligent as it at first seems. It uses your GPS coordinates and knows which way you are facing from the compass and then checks it against a map to see what you are looking at.

Just downloaded it and it doesn't have 3G support, only 3GS and 4.
Is there any way to 'trick' the app into thinking its on an iphone 3GS or 4?
I have a jailbroken phone on iOS 4.1
