Apple has unexpectedly released a Gold Master Seed of iOS 4.2.1 to developers.
MacRumors has heard from those familiar with iOS 4.2.1 that Apple has instructed developers not to resubmit their applications under the new build, suggesting that only minor fixes are included.

I believe (and hope so), the Dev-team and the other guys who keep making the tools to JB and unlock the iphone, they all know that Mapple will be doing (has been doing) this kind of stuff to keep everybody waiting to c whats new, but also if the latest jb works regardless of Mapple doing anything then why are the guys waiting so much to release the updated version that also will work on 4.2?
I have 2 iphones that need an unthetered JB and that i can hacktivate without sim so they can be unlock, all the wait rt now is cause of the OS.

Sure, it's all about jailbreak..... OR maybe Apple actually has fixes to apply. What a weird concept I know.
Not sure why they went 4.2.1 but it's just a numbering system doesn't effect anything.

They won't be able to fix the jailbreak without issuing new hardware.
