The iPhone Dev-Team has released a new version of RedSn0w to jailbreak iOS 4.2.1
The jailbreak is currently tethered for most devices except for the iPhone3G, older iPhone3GS, and non-MC iPod touch 2G.
Comex is working on a way to untether the jailbreak for newer devices but it will require you to have your 4.1 SHSH blobs in order to use it.
Both Cydia (within redsn0w 0.9.6b4) and MobileSubstrate (install via Cydia) are now 4.2.1 compatible.
You can download Redsn0w 0.9.6b4 from here:
● Mac
● Windows
We will be posting a tutorial on how to use the new version of RedSn0w very shortly.
