Facebook App Sees Huge Christmas Spike in Usage

The Facebook app for iPhone received a huge spike in usage this holiday season as can be seen in the chart below.

Statistics at AllFacebook.com show an increase to 31.3 million daily active users from 29.7 million on December 24th. That's a gain of 1.6 million users in 3 days.

While Facebook may have received an extraordinary boost in usage, the holiday season is good to many developers as new users search for their favorite new apps.
