After a rumor that Mac OS X Server would be discontinued recently surfaced, a concerned user emailed Steve Jobs and got a response
Q: If you are abandoning enterprise solutions by eliminating the Xserve, does that mean OS X Server is not far behind? It seems that way. I would hate to see that because I like the product.

This is the usual Steve Jobs response and could be a clever way of addressing the issue. It is not clear if OS X Server has a bright future, or if its discontinuation would happen a bit further down the road.
