Am I understanding wrongly? How come it says "18 and Under" and "65 and Above"? What happened to the people who are 19-64?

200 trillion text messages per day in the US? That's roughly 800,000 per person.
Hmmm. If I get five, I'm having a good day

ok yea that seems waaay to high, I'd say teens do upwards of a couple hundred on good days. but some of this could be spam? but still that can't be right.

And just like that every other piece of data in that image is now unreliable.

The decline of voice usage section shows no such data. It shows static data for two different groups, not year-to-year differences betwee the same groups. And, the whole middle is missing.

3339 texts/mo? That's > 100/day!! Astonishing and a bit hard to believe.

then you don't know teenagers these days, i'd say 100 a day is on the low side even.

Yea, the info must be wrong. Orange UK's unlimited fair usage policy is 3000 texts. Most people don't reach 1000.
To say that the average teen sends over 3000 texts is just wrong. The data must be flawed.

Not at all hard to believe. My son sends that on a slow month. So glad they finally have unlimited texting plans.

its not that hard to believe...I don't really text that much ever since I've gotten data but I still average about 1100-1500 txt/month
