Verizon has already begun shipping out iPhones to customers who pre-ordered the device only hours ago, according to a MacRumors reader.
Brooks Serigne has passed along this screenshot of his order status screen on Verizon's website showing that his order has been shipped. No carrier/tracking information or delivery estimate has yet been provided.
Verizon's iPhone FAQ notes that pre-orders will arrive "on or before February 10, 2011". It looks like they are trying to get them out as soon as possible.

Mine says the same...but still no email confirming shipment so I wouldn't bet on it until the tracking number is posted...but hopefully they have been since it did say on or before the 10th

That doesnt mean they have been shipped!!! Almost everyone on the verizon community blog says theirs show SHIPPED, but that doesnt mean shipped yet. Alot have spoken with customer reps and they have confirmed they have yet to start shipping.
