Geekaphone has performed a green study of the iPhone and published an infographic to summarize their findings.

Who cares! I sure don't. Just perform for all I care. If the last tree stood in the world. Guess what. Firewood baby. Last gallon of fresh water left in world. Guess what it's mines. Who gives. Millions and millions like me. Who cares? I sure don't. I purposely stomp my gas pedal everyday at work. Who the cares! I don't.

Mildly informative. Anyone know wtf is going on after the airplane in the graphic though? What is the white mystery phone that randomly comes into play with different emissions?

I think what it's trying to convey is the 3G phone had more packing bulk therefor increasing the amount of fuel and emissions from the plane.
So the same number of ip4 use less fuel than the same number of 3G phones thereby decreasing emissions.
A 1000 ip4s use X amount of fuel less and less emissions.
