The AppStore is up and running in version 7.7 of iTunes. You can download Apps and everything. Just waiting for the 2.0 software release - Excited? I think so!

This is incorrect. You can access the Apps Store from within iTunes. From within iTunes you need to go to preferences, General, then select Applications and it will appear.
