TomTom has updated its iOS navigation app with HD Traffic and Multi-Stop Routes.
What's New In This Version: - LATEST, UPDATED TOMTOM MAP: Because roads are constantly changing, on average 15% of roads change every year, your TomTom App update comes with the latest and most up-to-date map.
- TOMTOM HD TRAFFIC: Experience the most-accurate, real-time traffic coverage available with revolutionary TomTom HD Traffic service. TomTom HD Traffic is more accurate, provides more road coverage, and delivers updates every 2 minutes to get you around traffic more effectively than ever before. Available via in-App purchase.
- MULTI-STOP ROUTES: Make your journeys simpler. With up to five stops on your journey, you can pick up friends and visit places of interest more easily - and you only need to plan your route once.
IPHONE ORIGINAL (2G) AND iPOD TOUCH 1st GEN. USERS: DO NOT DELETE YOUR CURRENT APP (v1.7) FROM YOUR DEVICE. Your current App is the last version that supports your device. This update (v1.8) does not run on your device. If you delete your current App from your device and try to install this update, you may no longer be able to re-install your current App.
You can purchase TomTom U.S. & Canada from the App Store for $59.99.
I would have paid for Tomtom months ago if it was A - a lot cheaper and B - they'd actually confirm that map update will stay free. I certainly won't pay £50 for it when they could stop updating the maps whenever they want.
(For the record I'm not jailbroken any more, but when I was I had Tomtom)
I give you bad image? Really? Why did you jailbreak your phone then? If you tell me that you don't have installous on your phone then I simply don't buy that because that's why you're on iC to get all the jailbreak/unlock/exc updates.
Why I don't pay for it you ask - I don't want to, if there is a way - there is a will.
Well yeah, why would you pay when you can get it free...
You may aswell just thow your money down a drain. I havnt paid for an app in my life and ive got looooads. Including tomtom. Stand on your soap box and tell me i shouldnt, but im not gonna listen.
Ya, if you like the service, you should pay for it. Lots of work has been done to make this app. Plus it's a one time payment and all updates are free.
People like me? Really? Well that would be waaaay too many people tout talking to mister. There are more than 10mil people who are carrying jailbroken iPhones, you think they all have them to play with winterboard and tethering - some are - most people did it to get free stuff. So did you!
