Hong Kong designer Elton Leung is seeking funding for the XStylus Touch, a magnetic wide-grip touch pen for the iPad.
The XStylus Touch is a transforming wide-grip capacitive touch pen designed to provide ergonomic writing and drawing experience and as well as portability. With a simple 180 rotation of the iron alloy pen core, the stylus transforms into a well balanced 14 mm wide-grip pen. The XStylus Touch comes with a patent pending minimalistic magnetic pen holder that attaches to the charging port of the iPad 1 and 2.
The XStylus Touch is one of the heaviest iPad styli on the market, weighing 32 grams. The touch and feel is very similar to holding a quality fountain pen. It was awarded the Bronze medal in the 2010 Taipei International Invention Show & Technomart, and the XStylus Crayon for the Nintendo 3DS was successfully funded on IndieGoGo in June 2011.
There are 53 days left for the stylus to reach its funding goal of $50,000. You can watch the video below or hit the link to learn more.

it does cling to the ipad2, but not the ipad1. but design-wise it's way better.
