Netflix has announced its launch in Latin America and the Caribbean starting with Brazil today and spreading to 43 countries and territories over the next week.
By September 12, people throughout the Americas will be able to instantly watch a broad selection of movies and TV shows streaming from Netflix on computers, game consoles like the WII and PS3, and Smart TVs. A Netflix membership provides unlimited movies and TV shows for a low monthly subscription. Brazilians can now sign up for one month free at www.netflix.com.
Actually it does work on video games such as ps and wii. They said it will work on apple devices by the end of October, but I still don't know the reason for such delay.
Unfortunately, for brazilians, the kind of service is provided doesn't get the attention I was expecting. It does not work over iPhone and iPad as stream isn't allowed down here. It only works on your Mac but AirPlay also not enabled. So, it doesn't worth $9 bucks per month just to watch by your own and on your Mac/pc only.
