Steve Jobs Describes His Vision for iCloud - In 1997

Steve Jobs describes his vision for iCloud during his Q&A session with developers at WWDC 1997.

"I can't communicate to you how awesome this is until you use it. And what you would decide within a day or two is that carrying around these non-connected computers or computers with tons of state in them -- tons of data and state in them -- is Byzantine by comparison."

Take a look at the video below...

It's called a concept. He had it back in the day. It's only now coming to fruition. And as far as the iCloud messages about deleting music etc, it's still in beta. The service hasn't launched yet. It's only for developers. Those messages won't go out to the general public

Apple told developers way in advance that iCloud and iTunes Match data would be deleted several times during the development of it (that means while it's still in the state called "Beta").. When it's reached GM (and public release) these "problems" as you seem to tag them as will be gone.. So from now on, please keep informed on the beta cycle before drawing conclusions.

You asked why we are hearing about deleted data in iCloud/iTunes Match and I told you why.. If you don't want an answer then you don't ask the question. Now enjoy the rest of the weekend ;)

This sounds more like Google's Chrome OS than Apple's iCloud...

Greatest visionary around. What makes him uneek from All the other visionaries Alive is that he actually does what he thinks. Just no words but he accomplishes his words.. I hope jobs is doing good
