iPhone 4S Solves the Death Grip Problem [Video]

The iPhone 4S appears to solve the 'Death Grip' problem that plagued the iPhone 4, according to initial tests performed by iSpazio.

The iPhone 4 suffered from an issue which caused signal loss when your finger or hand bridged the two antennas that are separated at the bottom left of the device. The problem led the company to offer a free bumper case to customers which prevented the signal degradation.

This signal loss should not be present in the new device. Apple says the iPhone 4S is the first phone to intelligently switch between two antennas to transmit and receive, so call quality is better.

I am in the uk and after seeing this video decided to experiment. In the video cores the wrong side.. When you cover the correct side there is indeed signal degradation however unlike my iPhone 4 the signal refuses to drop all together but simply goes down to 1 bar then very noticeable "switches" and has full signal. Obviously the second antenna has solved this issue!

what overblown tosh about the alleged death grip! I've never experienced such grip issues and I hold my phone all over the place!

Ummmm he taps the screen with his thumb and NOTHING happens. Something isn't right there.
