Apple has added an iTunes Match toggle to the Music section of the Settings app in iOS 5, signaling that the public launch is near.

If you try to enable the toggle you are prompted to signup using iTunes; however, that is only possible with iTunes 10.5.1 which is developer only.

Apple has said that iTunes Match will launch in the U.S.A. by the end of the month. However, MacRumors notes that a "coming soon" flag is showing for users in a number of other countries as well; including, Australia, Austria, Canada, Germany, Ireland, and the United Kingdom.

iTunes Match will let you store your entire music collection, including music you've imported from CDs or purchased somewhere other than iTunes. For $24.99 a year.

We'll let you know as soon as it's available...
