DIRECTV has updated their app for the iPad with Live TV Streaming.

Thanks for the cool app DirecTV. Now please settle with FOX. I know they want too much. But you can also start a movement to tell their advertisers they are about to lose 19.2 million DirecTV viewers. I Like FX, FMC and Nat Geo. But you're right #FOX is attempting to rip #DIRECTV off at a 40% increase. Still, cool App!

It doesn't work on jailbroken devices... Apple is starting to crack on all their apps right now It sucks I can't use this app I am not restoring my iPad for this stupid directv app... Any1 from dev team to crack this app for us? Thx

Hi Thanks for your help really appreciate it. By the way is there anyway you can edit NOMAD directv? I downloaded on my iPhone4 the same thing happened . I used Ifile but I guess the NOMAD app is different .. its not the same file Thanks in advance

if you have cydia, which you should, install ifle, open the program, locate the directv program folder....should be under applications/directv once the look for the folder called preferences, and select the bottom most .plist file and open in text viewer.. this will open a text file with computer programming code..... read through the code and find the portion that says jailbreak detection enabled....you can either retype the enable to disabled or delete that line of code completely and save. exit out of ifile and completely close directv app and restart its been working for me ever since I did this....

I installed the app and it doesn't work on jailbroken ipads!
