Former Vice President Al Gore talks about the legacy of Steve Jobs in this video from the AsiaD conference that took place in Hong Kong in October. Gore also sits on the Apple Board and was a friend to Steve Jobs.
"It's a terrible loss, of course, for the entire world. We'll all miss Steve.
But for all of his inventions - "among them all, I actually think his greatest work was Apple itself."
"He created an organization - and inspired it - that literally creates technology that people love and that's going to continue. There's so many things in the pipeline, and the team that he built is hitting on all cylinders."

interesting that only in the past few years has the apple community become inundated with right-wing frat boys. it used to be a somewhat thoughtful, intelligent bunch of folks, but comments like this... oh well... that's what happens when apple appeals to the lowest common denominator of the windows users i guess.

Actually, if you watch the video he clearly invented Steve Jobs (and most likely his relationship to him.
